Martin's co-worker Dan has a serious 'hacking' hobby which inadvertently causes a system crash at a research company A chance scrambling of information to repair the system allows the research company to break the genetic code which reveals a relationship that could save hundreds of lives! However, this new technology could also be employed for sinister results in the wrong hands. The heroes suspect that the discovery is actually being used for rifter immortality rather than saving human lives.
